What is the availability for the class I want to take?

What is the cost of a course?
Course prices vary, depending on the length and complexity of the course content. Prices for each course are listed in the course description.
Whom do I make my check or purchase order to?
To ensure no delays in the registration process, please address all checks or purchase orders to the Genesys Telecommunications entity that offers your course.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, we accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express (Accepted World Wide), Diner's Club (US only).
How do I know when I am confirmed in a class?
Confirmations are sent to students via e-mail. An e-mail will inform the student of the title, date, and location of the class they are confirmed for. The e-mail also provides driving directions and hotel information.
Can you provide me with information on hotels in the area?
Refer to the individual country pages for directions and accommodation details.
What are the beginning and ending times of your classes?
Most of our classes are held between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. All pertinent information (class information, directions, and hotel information) will be provided once you have been confirmed for class.
If I need to cancel a class, what do I do?
To cancel a class and receive a full refund, please login to online registration and view your profile. Select the class you need to cancel and proceed with the cancellation process as soon as possible, but no less that ten (10) business days prior to the start of class. Companies will be charged the full amount for classes canceled less than ten (10) business days before the start of class.

May I arrive late or leave early?
Genesys strongly advises against missing any course hours. Arriving late or leaving early may result in incompletion of class.
What do I need to bring to class?
Nothing, you will be provided with all necessary course material.
Will I have Internet access and/or phone access for my company's communication?
Genesys provides stations with dial-up, broadband Internet access and phones for local and long-distance calls. Laptop computers are recommended. You will receive a documentation CD that you may review after hours.
What is the dress code for the classes?
Business casual.
In enrolling for a Genesys University training event, the student(s) agree(s) to accept the general terms and conditions as set out by Genesys University below:
Registration
Registration for a training event, class or certification exam can be made online at the Genesys University website or through a Genesys University Registrar.
If a registration request cannot be filled by Genesys University, alternative dates and/or locations will be provided.
Course fees and payment options
The training fees for standard courses will be charged on a per student basis. The fees vary in accordance with the course level and duration. The prices can be found on the Genesys University price list.
Unless otherwise noted, fees include theoretical lectures, practical exercises and all materials for the training seminar or program, as well as use of all hardware and software necessary for the period of the program. Students do not receive an electronic copy of the course manuals. Fees do not include the costs of traveling, accommodations, catering and other extra services.
Any discounts that may apply as part of an agreement or special promotion will not be accumulated, unless specifically allowed by Genesys University.
Genesys University reserves the right to change course and exam fees without notification. However, course and/or exam dates that were booked prior to the price change, and for which Genesys University has received a valid form of payment, will be honored at the fee applicable at the time of booking.
Genesys University accepts the following forms of payment:

Confirmation
Genesys University will send a confirmation e-mail to the student and/or student's supervisor once the registration request has been received along with a valid form of payment. If payment has not been received prior to the start of the course, Genesys University may release those seats without notice. Upon request, Genesys University will also provide the student and/or student's supervisor with information on local hotels and maps.
Cancellation or rescheduling by the customer
In order to receive a full refund on attendance in a public course, cancellations and rescheduling notifications must be made in writing at least 10 (ten) business days prior to the course start date. At the time of the rescheduling notification, the customer must reschedule the course no later than eight (8) weeks after the original start date. If a cancellation or rescheduling notification is received less than 10 (ten) working days before the event, or in case of absence without any notice ("no-show"), the stipulated training fee will be fully charged without further notification. The customer has the right to send another student as a substitute, provided that any applicable prerequisites have been completed by the substitute student. This alteration in booking is free of charge. There are no refunds for partial use of services or partial attendance.
Cancellation or rescheduling by Genesys University
Genesys University may cancel or reschedule the training event if the number of students is less than that specified for the event or an instructor is incapacitated through illness, or for other reasons of a serious nature.
If a student is unable to attend as a result, any payment already made will be refunded or applied to the customer's account. All further claims are excluded. Genesys University shall not be liable for non-refundable travel arrangements or airline change fees if a course is cancelled or rescheduled.
Copyright/Intellectual property rights
The copyright and all other intellectual property rights relating to the course documentation and any other training materials provided to students are solely owned by and hereby reserved to Genesys University. Under no circumstances may the whole or any part of the course documentation be reproduced or copied in any form or by any means or translated into another language without the prior written permission of Genesys University. Training materials as such also include all electronic knowledge, products, or learning systems that have been given to the student on a storage device or made accessible via the Internet. Offenders are liable for the payment of damages.
Waivers
Students may apply for a prerequisite waiver if they believe their existing knowledge and experience is sufficient to attend a Genesys University training course without having completed its prerequisites. Upon receipt of a waiver request, a Genesys University instructor will contact the student to verbally assess his/her knowledge and experience in order to determine whether or not it is appropriate to provide the student with a prerequisite waiver.
If the requested waiver is issued, it is the full responsibility of the student to ensure that the knowledge and/or experience that he/she may lack does not detrimentally affect the training experience of other students in the class. By accepting a prerequisite waiver, the student accepts that any topics that would have been part of one or more of the prerequisite course(s) will not be covered during or after the course that he/she is registering for.
Course Content
Genesys University reserves the right to amend the content of any course without notice when, at the sole discretion of Genesys University, such amendment is deemed not to fundamentally change the content of such course.
Rules of Participation
For exact course times and estimated travel times between each Training Center and the nearest airport, students are advised to contact the Registrar of the Training Center where the training event will take place. Students are requested to sign in 30 minutes before the start of class on the first day. Students and/or their supervisors are requested not to make return travel arrangements that may affect or disrupt the duration of the course.
Business casual attire is appropriate.
Each student attending courses on Genesys premises shall comply with all training, security, and health and safety regulations and procedures. The customer shall remain responsible for the activities and behavior of its students while on Genesys premises. The customer is liable to pay for any damage that is caused by their student to any property belonging to Genesys Telecommunications.
Course materials and equipment are provided by Genesys University and are intended for training purposes only. Equipment may not be used at any time for other reasons, and are not intended to provide Internet access.
Software made available by Genesys University for training purposes must not be removed, nor may it be copied either wholly or in part or rendered useable in any other form for which consent has not been obtained. Students must not access or attempt to access any Genesys computer-based data that is not specifically part of the training course.
Genesys University will not accept liability for any damage that may result from possible viruses on copied file diskettes. Diskettes brought in by students must not be used on the Genesys University computers.
Mobile phones must be switched off during class, and calls may only be made or received outside the Genesys University department during class breaks so as not to disturb the instructor(s) and/or other students.
Genesys University reserves the right to exclude (a) student(s) from attending any course due to conduct judged by the instructor as disorderly, failure to observe any of Genesys University's rules of participation or failure to attend the prerequisite class(es) for a particular course without having obtained a valid prerequisite waiver. No refund of fees shall be paid to the student or his/her employer in such circumstances.
Warranties and liabilities
While every effort is made by Genesys University to ensure that the course instructors are appropriately qualified and trained, Genesys University does not accept liability for any loss, cost or expense or for any special, indirect or consequential damages arising from negligence, misconduct or lack of skill in delivering the course(s).
On-site Training and Customized Training
The price of on-site and/or customized training shall be agreed upon at the time of offering. For training at the customer's requested location, all travel, accommodation and living expenses for the instructor(s) must be paid for by the customer in addition to daily course cost, unless specifically agreed otherwise by the customer and a Genesys University Manager.
Quotes for on-site training delivery and customized training issued by Genesys University shall be valid for 1 (one) month, unless specifically agreed otherwise by the customer and a Genesys University Manager.
In case of customized training, no chargeable work shall be undertaken by Genesys University before a valid form of payment is received.
In case of cancellation, notification must be received in writing. Genesys University charges a 50% cancellation fee for classes cancelled 10 (ten) business days prior to start date of the course. Cancellations with less than 10 (ten) days notice are 100% non-refundable. Any training will be charged as per the on-site delivery quote. In addition, any chargeable work already undertaken by Genesys will also be charged.
